Like: strange, but I love the detail on the ceiling above the light. It has a visual effect, where the cord appears like a dribble of water defying gravity and creating a gentle ripple.
Dislike: the colours of the rug. It is too retro-chic for my liking!

Have a great weekend! I hope the sun stays out.

I like all the natural light coming in to the room. At girst, it seems very inviting, then when you look at the sofa and coffee table they both are “cluttered” and the space is no longer inviting.

I found this one more difficult to critic than those you’ve previously poster. I would be content to just walk in to this room and relax. Its warm with out being over whelming clean with out being stark and balanced. If I really had to choose something I didn’t like it would be the heavy stool by the sofa. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi, I like the look overall but feel the painting is too big, dark and so overwhelms the rest of the room. The candles would be knocked over in 30 seconds in my house. Have a good weekend.

Love the room overall – it has color but still manages to feel low key. Well, except for that painting which seems too intrusive. I imagined myself sitting opposite the sofa trying to talk with my parents or grandma and feeling completely distracted by the juxtaposition of gentle and not so gentle.

I like most: the layers and texture in the room…it looks like a room which belongs to someone who has traveled and reads books!
I like least: the window which has no curtains…it looks a little unfinished and cold

I love the big painting – it grounds the whole room & is a perfect contrast to the lighter feel of the table & window. I am not inclined towards the throw on the back of the bench or the carpet ….
