Join The Room Debate!

How are we all this morning? Anyone’s feet hurting from pounding the pavements of London Design Festival? What have been your highlights?

In the name of light relief, I’m happy to say it’s Room Debate time again! As always, it’s easy to take part. Just have a good look at the room photo below and leave a comment with your answers to these two questions:

One thing I like most about this room is…

One thing I like least about this room is…

{via Design Attractor}

So, it’s over to you… click on the comments tab below and share your favourite and least favourite element. Looking forward to hearing what you think!

Have a great weekend.

    My favourite element in this room has to be the shelves and most particularly the ladder. I’ve always dreamed of having a dedicated library with a wheely ladder (like they have in the sweet shop in the original Charlie and The Chocolate Factory!). This is a fab contemporary twist and I love it!

    My least favourite thing is the velvet rug. I love the colour of it – I think it really adds some interest to the room – but the material of it freaks me out a bit. Why would you have velvet on the floor? Wouldn’t it get all rucked up and scruffy?

    Over to you!

      There’s not much here I don’t like really – even the rug. Maybe not overly practical and I can see it rucking up a lot (v irritating!) and, although, the metal chairs look good, I’m not convinced how comfy they would be.

    Love love love the shelves. I love the white scheme as well but would like to see some warmer tones in other areas. The pink rug doesn’t quite work for me – I’d prefer a wooden floor and a colour injection in the upholstery instead of just the cushions.

    I too love the shelves, particulary the big gap above the bottom shelf for displaying pictures. I’m not happy about the sofa though, there are so many beautiful contemporary sofa designs that would look awesome here. I’d also take away the white circular side table, it doesn’t add anything to the room and looks a bit odd there. 😀 Kim
