Vintage Christmas inspiration

When it comes to elegant Christmas decorations, The White Company never disappoints. This year’s collection is all about vintage glamour. And goodness knows I could do with a little more of that in my life *applies lipstick and slips on killer heels*

Three ball candle holder, £40; Frosted leaf wreath, £65

It’s going to take a few more years, a bigger oven and several more dining chairs before I can host Christmas but when I do I’d love the table to look like this. Classic colours and a little sparkle never go out of fashion!

Vintage glass star, £8

It seems a shame that Christmas decorations get hidden away in boxes for 11 months of the year, especially when they’re as pretty as this one. Reckon I could get away with pinning this into my hair?

Tree decorations, from £4 each

Lovely styling!

Antiques glass heart, £10

Mental note: hunt out old keys and paint white. Now.

Miniature glass decorations, £16 for 6

How will you be decorating for Christmas this year?

[…] “I have a preference for interiors that are stripped right back and fairly minimal, so that the individual design elements have room to breathe.  This visual aesthetic is perfect for industrial inspired spaces.  And there’s no reason why Christmas styling can’t adopt a similar theme.  I’m particularly fond of this interior because of its no fuss, simplistic approach.  The rustic chairs, combined with the industrial table add oodles of character, while the neutral backdrop highlights the punctuations of greenery.  It may be very simple but its understated elegance packs a punch!” Image Credit […]
